## About

I'm a software engineer who likes the messy half of the problem: the retailer that blocks your scraper, the video with a scoreboard you have to read with OCR, the API that times out before your job finishes.
Most of what's here started as a question I couldn't answer by reading. Can a genetic algorithm learn to play a platformer? Can you get a usable price comparison out of four websites that don't want to give you one? Each one turned into something that runs.

## Education

**B.Sc. Computer Science**, Reichman University (10/2024 - expected 08/2027)

Algorithms (86), Operating Systems (93), Data Structures, OOP

## Experience

### Software Developer - Code4Good (volunteer program)
03/2026 - present

Computer vision pipeline using SIFT feature matching and CLIPSeg for automated image segmentation and shoreline detection, across a large-scale environmental research database. Wrapped the models in a GUI so research staff could run them without ML expertise.

### Team Commander & Operations Lead - IDF, Artillery Corps
11/2018 - 11/2021

Directed a team of 12 in high-pressure operational environments, owning daily operations and logistics. Built a Google Sheets tracking system for performance metrics and qualifications across 12+ soldiers.

## Selected work

### [Icy Tower - Game & AI](https://www.rondahan.com/projects/icy-tower)
2025 - 2026 · Vanilla JS, Canvas, MediaPipe, Genetic Algorithms

A browser platformer built with no game engine, plus a neural network taught to climb it by a genetic algorithm, reaching floor 179 after 2,000 generations.

Playable in the browser: https://www.rondahan.com/games/icy-tower/index.html

### [ScrapeGoat](https://www.rondahan.com/projects/scrapegoat)
2026 · Python, FastAPI, Playwright, Next.js

Type a product name and get the price, rating, and review count from Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and Newegg side by side, pulled live rather than from a stale database.

Live demo: https://scrapegoat-demo.vercel.app (recorded run, not a live scrape)

### [PlantAI](https://www.rondahan.com/projects/plantai)
2026 · Work in progress · React Native, Expo, TypeScript, LLM pipelines

A React Native app that chains two vision models, one to identify the plant and one to diagnose it, then returns a treatment plan.

### [Table Tennis Analyzer](https://www.rondahan.com/projects/table-tennis-analyzer)
2026 · Computer Vision, YOLOv8, OCR, React

Give it a table tennis video and it returns an annotated replay, a score chart read straight off the scoreboard, and a position heatmap, with no manual tagging.

### [Workflow Automations](https://www.rondahan.com/projects/automations)
2025 · n8n, Telegram, Supabase, Amadeus API

A bilingual Telegram grocery-list bot backed by Postgres, and a flight price monitor that watches a Google Sheet wishlist and alerts when fares move. Both were built to learn the tooling and run for my own use - no other users.
